X-Crash 8.6 supports the latest MME format
The fourth update of X-Crash this year, version 8.6, offers some important improvements for the evaluation of passive vehicle safety. The measX developers have integrated 36 new international regulations.
In addition, existing crash regulations and assessment methods have been adapted and expanded in line with standards. This means that X-Crash remains a leader in the support and implementation of international test specifications. A highlight of the program upgrade: The latest version of the multimedia data exchange format MME is already fully integrated in the user interface. The MME format, which has been revised by the ISO, contains additional information on the status of the data, which considerably simplifies the evaluation of data quality and validity. X-Crash users can benefit directly from these advantages. In addition, two new options are available to reliably protect PDF reports against changes. The flexibly adjustable options allow or prohibit the modification of content and the addition of comments.
“X-Crash stands for the evaluation of internationally prescribed tests at the touch of a button. With the update of the evaluation library and our involvement in the further development of the ISO data exchange format MME, we continue to set standards in the industry,” says Klaas Ebel, Head of Vehicle Safety at measX.
X-Crash has been the world's leading crash test evaluation tool for 25 years and has been the official software for Euro NCAP test evaluations since 2011. With four updates a year, measX always offers vehicle manufacturers and test laboratories a state-of-the-art solution. The new features in version 8.6 underline this innovative strength.
