measX Presents New Features for Crash Test Analysis: X-Crash Version 7

measX GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist for testing and evaluation solutions, publishes its seventh version of X-Crash, the globally recognized standard software for analyzing vehicle safety tests on Safety Week 2019. The version X-Crash 7 offers extended functionalities.
X-Crash is mandatory by Euro NCAP and other consumer protection organizations of the "New Car Assessment Programme" (NCAP) as reference software for the safety rating, the well-known "star rating".

Evaluations for further test regulations have been added, including the C-IASI regulations (China Insurance Automotive Safety Index). The user interface has been optimized and has thus become even more convenient. Additional filter and display options supplement the proven functions for crash data analysis.

A highlight in version 7 is the new dummy and vehicle view, in which the ISO-MME specified channel names are assigned to the respective measurement positions. This gives users a better overview of how to handle the measurement data - a basic requirement for data exchange and test comparability.

"X-Crash has been helping the automotive industry develop safer vehicles since the mid-1990s. In view of the constantly increasing time and cost pressure, it is becoming increasingly important to be able to evaluate tests as easily as possible, but with the highest level of reliability. With this guiding principle we have further improved the software and will continue to invest here in the future," says measX Managing Director Dr. Joachim Hilsmann.

X-Crash is continuously adapted to new, international test requirements. Based on the standard software DIAdem from National Instruments, the measX expert team develops powerful evaluation and reporting functions for NCAP organizations and customers in the automotive industry.

At the SafetyWeek 2019 in Wurzburg from 14th to 16th May measX will present X-Crash and other software products for the evaluation of vehicle safety tests. With these tools the company makes an important contribution to more safety in road traffic.
