measX receives DASYLab source code license - own DASYLab version in planning
(Moenchengladbach, June 03, 2025) The company measX GmbH & Co. KG as developer and main distributor of DASYLab now receives a source code license from NI/Digilent, now Emerson as owner of DASYLab. The already ongoing cooperation in development and sales will be further strengthened by this measure. With this license, measX plans to publish its own DASYLab versions in order to be able to react more flexibly to customer requirements.
measX GmbH & Co KG, a specialist in test bench technology and test data management and long-time main distributor of the DASYLab measurement technology software, recognizes the need to respond to the demands of industrial customers and is pleased that NI/Digilent, now Emerson, is supporting this step:
“Especially in Germany, the number of industrial customers is high and DASYLab needed a sign of continuity here,” says measX Managing Director and former Partner Manager Dr. Hilsmann. “By obtaining this license, NI/Digilent, now Emerson, is setting an example of a strong partnership and trust, and at the same time new paths are now opening up for us, which we are willing to pursue to the satisfaction of our customers,” he adds.
The source code license allows measX to develop and distribute its own DASYLab versions independently. New features or improvements can thus be added independently by the team in Moenchengladbach. It was also agreed that possible enhancements can flow back into the original version.
On August 13, 1998, the Datalog company, and with it the DASYLab product, was purchased by National Instruments. From parts of the resulting company National Instruments Services, today's measX GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2006.
Digilent is a NI Company. NI recently was acquired by Emerson.
