New Era for DASYLab: measX Assumes Sales and Full Responsibility
With this transition, measX now takes full ownership of both the commercialization and the strategic development of DASYLab. The former provider Emerson has dis-continued its activities related to the software, which was previously marketed under the NI Digilent brand. All licenses, updates, downloads, and technical support are now provided exclusively by measX and its international distributor network.
Already last year, measX was granted a source code license for DASYLab, ena-bling the company to develop and distribute its own versions. With the transfer of exclusive sales rights, full responsibility for the product now lies with the measure-ment and testing specialist based in Mönchengladbach.
“Emerson entrusting us with sales is a logical step following our many years of close collaboration. We appreciate their confidence and look forward to shaping the future of DASYLab together with the community,” says Dr. Joachim Hilsmann, Managing Director of measX.
“DASYLab software is an important part of the ecosystem around the NI platform. Our long-standing partner, measX, has a deep understanding of customer require-ments and will continue to develop the software in a focused and practical way. We are pleased that DASYLab customers will continue to receive excellent support,” said David Horn, Senior NI Digilent Marketing Manager, Test & Measurement, Emerson.
DASYLab has been used worldwide in the test and measurement industry for more than 30 years. The graphical, interactive software is known for its ease of use, enabling users to implement data acquisition and automation tasks via drag-and-drop. Originally developed by DATALOG GmbH, DASYLab became part of National Instruments (NI) through acquisition and has been part of Emerson since 2023. Previously, measX had already been the leading sales partner for DASYLab in Europe.
