measX and NI/Digilent renew DASYLab Cooperation in Development and Sales
(Moenchengladbach, November 21, 2023) As a part of a restructuring, DASYLab development and distribution will be reorganized. MeasX as inventor and main distributor and NI/Digilent as owner of DASYLab and development department of NI (National Instruments) will now cooperate even more intensively. A memorandum of understanding outlining the framework has been signed. A conclusion is expected before the end of this quarter.
measX GmbH & Co KG, specialist for test bench technology and test data management as well as main distributor of the measurement software DASYLab for many years, is pleased about the signed letter of intent and sees only positive things for DASYLab customers:
"Of course, changes are always a challenge, especially for our customers who highly appreciate our continuity and reliability." says measX Managing Director and former Partner Manager Dr. Hilsmann. "But in this case, the change only means good things. Both partners complement each other perfectly and for DASYLab it can only mean that it will be strengthened and get the attention it has always deserved," he adds.
The memorandum of understanding concluded covers cooperation in both development and sales. For example, corporate customers, who usually require a higher level of service and customer-specific development, will continue to be supported by measX. NI/Digilent, on the other hand, will push sales to individual customers and also pursue new sales channels here. A development environment used by both parties is already in the works.

On August 13, 1998, the Datalog company, and with it the DASYLab product, was purchased by National Instruments. From parts of the resulting company National Instruments Services, today's measX GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2006.
